Can you make it so that the video bar is in the video when activated so we can move the video around wherever we want it to be in the video.

Thank you, It’s amazing. I had a problem and I couldn’t use PiP for videos with custom context menu. This extension solve my problem.

This is an awesome extension! Please make the push to get this rolled into Chrome Stable. It’s great that you can move and resize the window. Can you please replace the custom play/pause button with the native player control overlays on the PiP window so that the user can access things like timeline, rewind, fast forward, play/pause, and player speed without having to unbury the original tab? It would also be nice to support multiple videos / playlists and to remove the restricting window resize limits. Thanks!

Tested on Plex and Netflix, with both working perfectly. Doesn’t work on Amazon Video for me. Thank you so much! :) EDIT 3/29/2019: The picture disappears often and easily on my Pixelbook. When I change the volume, it goes away. When I cycle through browser windows, it goes away. It’s unusable now.

Brilliant ! Important note : need Chrome 71 (currently Canary) and chrome://flags/#enable-surfaces-for-videos + chrome://flags/#enable-picture-in-picture enabled.

This is excellent! After it was implemented in MacOS Safari, I was really missing the feature in Google Chrome. Even while this is a proof-of-concept (missing some features like able to overlay fullscreen applications), I am really happy that it’s now possible with Google Chrome! No more Safari windows open for just the Picture-In-Picture YouTube video’s. Thank you. It works on MacOS 10.13.6 (latest stable) with Chrome 69.0.3497.81 (latest stable) when enabling the following flags: * chrome://flags/#enable-experimental-web-platform-features * chrome://flags/#enable-surfaces-for-videos * chrome://flags/#enable-picture-in-picture Have not tried it on Windows 10, yet.

You should add a volume control, a button to maximize the window, force window to keep video aspect ratio, and a reproduction control bar. Thanks.
